ECO SWIM

The mission of EcoSwim is to provide fashionable, excellent, quality and planet-friendly swimwear.

We will achieve this by embracing sustainable technologies and methods hence reducing our carbon footprint in the sand.

We know we are not there yet; but with every sunrise, we try harder.

Jenni Saylor is not only the Designer; but she is also the core customer of EcoSwim. Along with her husband, Rod, and daughters, Lauren and Casity, they live a more sustainable lifestyle. Recycling, composting, and eating organic foods were all part of their daily routine from before the girls were born.

Now, add that to Jenni’s work experiences and you have a formula for success. Jenni is a 15-year veteran of the swimwear industry. She has designed for Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce, and most recently has consulted for Tory Burch and Norma Kamali.

Her media acclaim has included the covers of “Sports Illustrated” and “Ocean Drive” magazine; but Jenni’s pride and joy was the recent article in “Good Housekeeping” where EcoSwim was tested and re-tested and resulted in resounding applause for sustainable swimwear being as good, if not better than, non-sustainable swimwear.

As part of EcoSwim by AquaGreen’s commitment to the environment, river and ocean clean ups are part of the action plan. Please visit www.EcoSwim.com to view the Neshaminy State Park and Delaware River clean ups.

Linda Loudermilk

Visionary couture and eco-designer Linda Loudermilk has been named by “W” Magazine as one of the top 20 innovators to watch. Coined as the “Vivienne Westwood of eco” by Elle Magazine, Loudermilk has spearheaded the creation of a new, luxury ecoT lifestyle, blowing old concepts of environmental living out of the water. Through her revolutionary designs and radical spirit, Loudermilk has redefined sustainability as something alluringly sexy, fun and edgy.

Linda’s personal mission is to influence change on the planet and change within ourselves, the consumer, as we and the planet are directly correlated to one another. Linda’s purpose is to ignite expressiveness, encourage clarity in the choices of daily life and through awareness bring about gratitude of this planet, our home, within which we reside and from which we are fed. Her design, practice and materials are brought together mindfully from her core.

Meadow

Meadow’s eco chic collection represents a fusion of style and respect for the Earth. Though seasons are part of life’s cycle, a season-less fashion collection discourages fashion’s accepted practice of short-lived trends. Meadow designs pieces to be timeless, a very eco philosophy.

Meadow is known worldwide for her unique and stylish eco bikinis, yogini clothing and her easy day to night eco resort style dresses and cover-ups. Previous collections used 100% natural and organic fibers including cotton, hemp, soy, bamboo and Tencel. This year Meadow’s limited edition collection uses up-cycled fabrics, the leftovers and otherwise discarded remnants from major manufacturers, which saves them from the landfill.

All production is done in Miami, where the designer is based part time.  To complete her local cycle for the season she will be giving a portion of her proceeds to Treemendous Miami. She is hoping to play a direct role in greening her local community.

When not in Miami, Meadow can be found at her studio shop in Pavones, Costa Rica where she lives with her family on a sustainable farm.
